The African Queen has seven cabins – five doubles and two singles.
All Cabins are carpeted, have en-suite facilities, radiators, plug sockets, a small dressing table area. You can also request hairdryers. The cabins also have small openable windows – these are above head height and allow in natural light.
The twin cabin has two single beds with room between and a small seating area – a ledge with a cushion on top – large enough for two people to sit on.

The award-winning African Queen is approximately 30.5 metres with two decks. It has been beautifully converted by its owners and is one of only a handful of floating hotels that sail along the River Thames. The African Queen accommodates 12 passengers, which ensures a warm and friendly atmosphere onboard.
The barge includes a bar, dining area, outside deck and library.
There is a bar in the barge’s communal area with comfortable seating. It provides a great setting to mingle with your fellow guests and enjoy a few drinks as you travel from destination to destination.
Onboard, you can enjoy the hospitality and cuisine in the spacious dining area. The crew will serve a mixture of traditional English cuisine and delicious Dutch and Cape Malay-style dishes.
